A couple weeks ago, we took a quick trip to New York City and packed in a whole lot of awesome. From Broadway lights to Chinatown bites, this trip was unforgettable.
We stayed at Hotel Edison right in the heart of the city—super cozy, great location, and just steps from the action. We started off wandering around Times Square, soaking up all the energy. Dinner at Azalea was spot-on, and Wicked at the Gershwin Theater? Pure magic. That show hits every time.
Then came Uncle Lou’s in Chinatown. Let me just say this: best food I’ve ever had in my life. Period. If you know, you know. After dinner, we headed to One World Observatory. Even with the clouds, the view was breathtaking.
We also grabbed the most delicious bagels ever at Liberty Bagels on Wall Street—worth every single carb.
We happened to be there for St. Patrick’s Day and caught part of the parade. It was such a fun, wild vibe. We popped into The Long Acre and iconic McSorley’s for drinks. And yes, we had amazing pizza at Lombardi’s on the Irish-est holiday of the year. Total win.
Another highlight? Ellen’s Stardust Diner—singing servers, diner classics, and just a ton of fun. It’s a must if you’re in Midtown.
Tuesday morning was a hustle—we hit The Guggenheim, Rockefeller Center, and of course, stopped by the NBC Studios Store so I could grab that Sunday Today coffee mug I’ve been wanting forever. Nailed it.
We used the subway, Ubers, taxis, and honestly had a blast getting around. New York gave us a little bit of everything, and we soaked up every second.
Until next time, NYC. 💚
